Description
This was my first art Project during senior high last fall. This was probably that scary time where I realized how easy it was to take ugly black smudges of charcoal and make them into flower petals. Traditional Art.This is another metaphorical image using everyday life objects; the meaning and message of it is withheld so that the viewer can interpret it themselves:
The objects lay flat on the floor. The unicorn figurine is shattered among some black petals. A book is laid out open on the floor, with the titles on the binding: Adam & Eve, Hate, Genocide, War, Desecration, Defiled, Children, Hope. There is whiteness resonating on the petals closest to the horn of the unicorn, which is separated and broken from the unicorn head. The whiteness almost seems to be connected to the horn in some way, and closest petals to the horn have the biggest effect from it.
I know it isn't all professional, and I wish that I had written the words better on the binding, but it was one of my first comebacks in artistry after a lot of years of not doing any art at all.
