I work with many techniques to create lighting. But I preferred to do a tutorial in the simplest way to create these effects, to facilitate those who are beginning to understand and want to do basically the lights just right.

Followed your tutorial for this [link] I didn't do so great on the hair, but hair painting has always been my biggest frustration.

I was about to ask you how you did the rim light on another image but then saw your tutorial, it's very helpful and nicely done!
I do not manipulate that much images but it's always interesting to learn a bit more about light. Knowing how to manipulate it (phisically or digitally) definately brings the image to the next level.
