[[This boat means alot to me and my sisters. We used to play on it every single day when we were little. We've been playing on it for some 10+ years.This is our secret hide-out. Our home away from home. To us, this is our special place.
During the summer of 2009, the property owners decided to tear up the area around the boat and, eventually, remove the boat for good. We were heartbroken. We couldnt bear to have them take away our secret place. Our gateway to our imagination.
We wrote a frantic note, begging to them not to take it away, and left it on the boat. They moved the boat alright, but only a couple feet away then left it alone.
You couldn't imagine the relief we felt.
For the time being, the boat stays there, day by day, looking old and a bit forelorn. But, almost every day, my sisters and I venture to the boat once again and let our imaginations take over. For now, we are little kids again. The boat will always be a secret place for me and my sisters.]]
