My good friends Cyndi and Jeramy are a husband an wife duo writing and illustrating an all ages comic adventure. I was given the honor of illustrating the cover of Issue 4, which is starting up now! Have I told you how much i love this cover today? I don't think I have. I LOVE this cover!
Plague's face is very true to a realistic rat, and that wide yelling mouth really adds to the wackiness of him clinging to a gryphon tail being flung around the forest. Another approach might have been just simply flipping him over so we see his big budging eyes instead of the mouth, but I don't think it would have had the same energy to it. Nope, I like it just the way it is.

Gosh I love what you've done with the characters, their colors, and textures, and - everything. O.o And the tree branches sorta all point to the title, which is nice. I think one improvenet could be to show the rat's face ... or at least the top of its head? I dunno. Still looks good to me.
