Waterfall study, inspired by photo reference. I exaggerated the atmospheric perspective a little bit and added the crashing water/fog, hope it works.It took a few days but it was worth it. I find landscape art hard because a lot of it is making decisions like how to capture detail without straight up copying the photo (that's make a lot of people crazy), and how to simplify trees. There is still a lot of work to go to be truly comfortable with the subject, though, I'm glad I put up with the extra hours
