Description
DAMN RIGHT YOU DO, SON.Taking a quick break from work--needed to get this out of my system. 8 hours-ish.
RANT
SOOO I’m sure a lot of ladies went to see Thor for that elusive scene where Chris Hemsworth twirls his bare-chested god body in front of the camera for like 2 minutes tops, or at least that had been my intention before actually watching the whole thing through and you guys. YOU. GUYS. As the credits rolled I realized I have ended up totally, unashamedly, fan-girling over Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. YOU GUYS.
I mean, Hemsworth isn’t half-ugly at all and Natalie Portman probably got paid a ton acting the easiest role ever, which was to display oh so girly attraction toward a golden, towering, buffed demi-god—I mean hand me the script and I’ll do it for free, KWIM? But Hiddleston fleshed out Loki down to a T by conveying so much that is the trickster god with so little effort. The angst, the frustration, the calculating, all with this pair of huge, melancholic, almost sympathetic eyes and high cheekbones and and inviting thin lips and not to mention the languid quips delivered through his accent and velvety voicHHHNNNNNGGHHHH
SOOO here’s a little something in your honor, Hiddles—Loki in your likeness. Although it sort of reminds me a bit of Michael Fassbender. But eh.
*book = excuse to draw hands because drawing hands is my MISSION IN LIEF

and as a fellow *coughenthusiastcough* of that accent and velvety voice, as you put it. Do you know he did an audiobook called the Red Necklace by Sally Gardner? Maybe it's worth a try.

O I listened to a snippet of the audiobook. That one scene that had been going around (I'm sure as an 'enthusiast' you know which one).
I was.
I just.
I can't.
The guy could read a cookbook for all I care and will still happen.

O yeah, that scene. That was pretty much everyone reactions after hearing that part.
I think I abused the play button.
Let's hope there will be a lot of Loki screen time in Avengers and Thor sequel .

I super agree. Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Anthony Hopkins as Odin are the best of the movie. And it's a good movie so that's saying something.
But seriously, it's like they walked right out of the set of King Lear. That's Branagh for you I suppose.

Yup, I guess Branagh is used to the whole family-angst thing, which explained the goodly amount of O BROTHER in Thor. They picked the right directing hand, methinks. I don't think I would be this interested in Thor if it weren't for the well-executed drama.

Of course. Branagh is a motherfucking legend.
Not entirely unlike... Thor!

I LIKED LOKI BETTER THAN THOR AS WELL! which is weird for me, cause I tend to like the "hero" types as long as they aren't derpy.
wow. That hand. I love it. QuQ <3

Wow nice coloring on this and that hand is amazing. Are you going to watch Avengers just to see Loki again?

Normally comicbook dc/marvel movies get sequels (batman, x-man, iron man, superman... even hellboy got it) so we will most likely get a Thor 2 in about 2 or 3 years, and then there will be more Loki for you XD
Btw, great painting as always. You never fail amazing us with your technique.

Heard they were planning to center more on Thor's relationship with Odin and Jane for the sequel... so I'm not sure about Loki would get enough screen time there or even any at all :/
Thank you for liking!
