"Why should I stop with just your liver?"Time: about 3 days all in all, stopped after the second day, lost interest on piece for months. Today raced through remaining parts for about 12 hours, cause if I had stopped I knew it would take another month to pick up where I left off.

Music: Glee OST, HALO OST. Good stuff.
Mood: shitty when starting first time months ago, shitty when first returning to this thing, not so shitty now.

It's supposed to be dark/poorly-lit.
Wings are eeeeeeeevil.
Might post step-by-step sometime in the future.

Also, I'm curious: are you trained to draw or is this something you learned to do on your own? I ask because it doesn't look anime inspired, so I'm wondering where you drew your inspiration from.

I started off pretty much on my own, inspired by French/European comic books, then took an Design major in uni. I like me some manga/anime at times, but they're mostly of the shonen kind, so lots of cool action poses, dynamic movement, and great anatomy. I find them equally inspiring, but for me manga/anime style doesn't necessarily mean big eyes, spiky hair, and twiggy frames; there are many Japanese visual treats out there that doesn't look anything Japanese

In terms of style, I adore Freesia by Matsumoto Jiro, and MPD Psycho by Tajima Shou. The lines of those two are just augh. Also Mugen no Jyuunin by Samura Hiroaki, among others. As for European comics, I mostly read Tintin and Asterix & Obelix like pretty much everyone else

Wow. The perspective on the wings is amazing and so are the muscles/anatomy and lighting. So gorgeous.
Also, since some people are commenting about it, the lighting is fine on my screen-- no problem at all. I can easily discern between the bodies and background and it's not at all muddled

The lighting seems good, to me, and I love that you gave the crow a semi-human form. The chest area of the crow-woman does seem a bit odd, though, as I look at it more closely, but still a beautiful piece. I'd love to see progress shots of it, myself.

Well, since Zeus gave Promy an eternal healing factor that regrows his liver all the time, there's really no shortage of iron, and the eagles do seem to love the Fois.

I'm sure its a wonderful piece, but its a bit difficult to understand visually. It took me a moment to piece together and I'm still not entirely certain of whats what(such as where their bodies separate, whats going where, so on so forth).
I appreciate the grungy feel of it, however, and its almost classical romanticism(I think thats the right word for it. xD)

Wow. Is it really that dark that you can't discern the bodies even in full mode? I don't know how this thing appear on other people's monitor, but it's not supposed to be so dark that it's blurry.

I thought it was the levels too, even plugged my power cord into my laptop, but I don't think thats it. I think most of it is because they're entwined so tightly its hard to discern whats what, almost like a visual riddle. Flurried. The more I look at it, the more I understand, certainly, and I think I know which leg belongs to which person now, it was just a bit difficult.
