What comes forth? Why, it’s QuillDog #71! This design, “Frostbitten Death,” is rated “Rare” and sports a very contrasting dark/light palette.

This creature’s flaxen markings are said to be colder than ice, and if touched, can freeze even the most hot-blooded beasts. Its furs are serrated, and although initially smooth to the touch, can quickly become painful for the one brave enough to touch this pelt. The quills this QuillDog bears are solid and crystalline in structure, holding in absolute cold that can be drawn upon by the beast at any time. Although its powers are formidable, it is rather elusive and rarely seen. It is most commonly spotted in cold, rural areas, and particularly fancies abandoned locations, such as decrepit houses and overgrown cemeteries. A bringer of death, it is actually a quite lonely creature, envious of those with friendship. The friendship it does have, particularly with death-related animals (black cats, corvids, vultures, bats), it treasures highly, and will protect said friends with its life.
