It's been awhile since I've held an event with an art prize, so I thought I'd do that now! The piece was originally water/illumination practice, but I didn't want to see it go to waste so I morphed it into a YCH!

HOW TO ENTER THIS CONTEST:

1. Create a journal! Within this journal, you must include the following:

-art/a reference/description/link/etc to the OC you'd want to be in this YCH slot, if you win (you can provide multiple OCs if you can't decide, and I'll pick one at random if you win!)

-explain how to enter this contest! Please note: you must provide a link or thumb to THIS deviation (and preferably my name, but it's not required), so that they know where to go to find this contest!

2. Come back to this deviation and leave a comment below! In your comment, be sure to include a link or thumb to the journal you've created.

3. Once I see your comment, I'll reply to it and let you know that your name has been thrown into the hat!

PLEASE NOTE:

Names will be accepted up until: 5:00 PM (Central Standard Time) Sunday, September 11th, 2016.

The names will be written down physically and thrown into my dad's concrete helmet. After that, a name will be drawn by me and I'll announce the winner Sunday night!

The YCH will be completed in fully shaded/colored style (not flatcolor!). Any reasonable canine OC can be requested to be put into the image by the contest winner. I am more than willing to add to what you see here (jewelry, weaponry, wings, mane, etc.) but please note that some items, such as mane, wings, extra appendages, etc. may alter the background due to the size some of these items take up. Once the piece has been completed, you may re-upload it (but must keep my watermark/signature and credit me as being the original artist). If you have any other questions concerning your rights to the YCH slot if you win it, I’ll be more than happy to answer them, so just ask! The winner may also request the finished image without the dA watermark. This particular YCH slot will NEVER be re-used by me again! It will be unique to your character!

The winner should expect their completed YCH piece sometime the following week.
