this was the first time ever seeing this guy move. other times it just lays there, sleeping, and looking dead..

it was about 10:30 in the morning when i got to this exhibit. not only did it move around, but it swam in it's little water pool! watching its reptile tongue go into the water while it was swimming, was adorable.

it was just me and another girl at the exhibit, she left after a bit, then it was just me. i snapped this after it got done swimming - to walk towards me. so no, this photo is not cropped in the slightest. --> we were almost nose-to-nose.

this komodo dragon stared at me for the longest time. made me feel special then it layed on his rock for a while, and looked around.
