Description

Charlie, the leader and founder of The Misfits started in a lab in Kanto along with a Squirtle and a Bulbasaur. The three were good friends, despite spending majority of their times in their pokeballs. Charlie always kept the two's spirits up when they felt that they weren't going to be picked. The Squirtle claimed that Charlie was in the clear and was defiantly going to get picked being a Charmander, which was liked by many. Charlie was rather modest and didn't see himself as anymon special, no more than the other two. Charlie would try to reassure them that him being picked wasn't a surefire thing, though he still hoped that he would be. When the day came for the two humans to pick their starters, the three were excited yet nervous, hoping they would be picked. Charlie heard a lot of muffled chattering outside his pokeball, then he heard the Squirtle and Bulbasaur battling in the lab before the chatter faded away. After that, silence, what was going on out there? Hours has past and nothing, nothing was happening. He called out to the Squirtle and Bulbasaur but got no response. He finally understood what happened, he wasn't chosen. It was a bitter-sweet moment, glad his friends got picked but sad that he didn't. What now? What was going to happen to him? Was he going to be released into the wild or stay in the ball forever? Days have passed and Charlie fell into a small depressed state. He was still in his ball but no longer had anyone to talk to. He felt rather worthless and useless, pretty much giving up. Charlie then came to a conclusion, why does he need a human to determine if he was good or not? Charlie knocked his ball over, causing the button to be pressed and finally releasing him. He was out, hasn't seen the outside of his pokeball since he was taken from a breeder. The place was dark and empty, everyone must have went home for the day. Not wanting to waste any time, Charlie escaped to the outside through a vent after taking a map he spotted nearby. He wasn't sure where he was going or what he was going to do next. Taking a peek at the map, he noticed there was more than just Kanto out there. Maybe that even means more starter pokemon that have been left behind. He knew what he had to do, get those starters and start his own team. The Misfits
