Some people get all the luck, no matter how uncomfortable the bed or how loud it is out in the weather Velma and Scooby can sleep peacefully anywhere. Which is handy for nights like this spent squished in the van. I mean, they can't afford to pay for accommodation for EVERY night they spend traveling about. They are trying to sleep in the back of the mystery machine during a storm. Scooby and Velma are the only ones managing to actually sleep, its too loud and cramped for the others to get properly comfortable.

Plus, that van has got to be bigger on the inside. I've seen episodes that show the back holding equipment, and other stuff that can't possibly fit except for cartoon physics.

Yeah, whats in the back of the van and what the van can do changes with every series.
I try to avoid cartoon physics, so this van is just a plain old van, but my reference box made it clear that I had to make a wall invisible for this angle to be possible.
Its a small space and full page views of small spaces are a bit of a trick.

Yeah, this place can get pretty weird. I just ignore it for the most part. Shaggy/Velma is ok, I dont hate it but I do hate how they handled it in mystery incorperated. I dont like when they make velma overly sarcastic, mean and controlling.

I've always found it easier to fall asleep with a little background noise, like hard rain or the air conditioner or some such thing. Maybe Velma's the same way.
I see Fred has the net handy, in case the Creeper or the Yellow Thing of Doom is lurking nearby.
