After the final fight our hero Devichi (Dee-Vee-Chi) disappeared along with the Goddess of War and vengeance Morrighan. No one knew what happened to either of them, they could only assume Devi accomplished her goal and returned with Leo to whatever they came from.
In reality, Devi was captured by Morrighan and ended up locked in Peaca (Means “sin” in Irish) Dungeon, Erinn’s dungeon of the undead. As punishment for entering her world, Morrighan cursed Devi with a mask. Until it is broken, she shall become like the others in the dungeon. Taking the place of the old Banshee (which was previously killed by Devichi and party), she sits in the last room, rotting.
Because Devichi never really interacted or left a mark with other people, only a few people know of her and because of this, Morrighan took advantage and taunts her captive by leaving her in her regular outfit, after all, even if she wears the clothes of any other milletain (from the stars), she still looks like one of the undead.
Not willing to die so easily and equipped with her wish to return home (where ever it may be), she lives on by eating the ghosts and ghouls and repairing herself with the Arcane Witches spider threads, waiting until one day when someone finally recognizes her and frees her from Morrighan’s curse.
At the start of the curse, she grew a set of horns and a tail, but other than that, it seems that nothing has happened, but as the days progress, she notices that she was feeling different, as if she was breaking apart. Of course, the first thing she tried was leaving the dungeon, since she was placed at the bosses room, the next room would’ve been the exit. Usually, if you were to touch a Goddess statue, you would be teleported out of the dungeon instantly, but this did not happen for Devichi. With nothing else to do, she waits until she could be rescued.
Not long after, a band of warriors came marching through Peaca Dungeon. One by one, they defeated the army of the undead room by room, until they reached the bosses room. As Devi was about to tell them of her situation, she realized she no longer had her normal voice. Thinking that she was the banshee, the boss of Peaca Dungeon, they swung their weapons at her, slicing her in two. She thought she was done for, but not willing to give up, she rose up again, not noticing that she was now floating above the ground without her legs. Scared, the warriors attacked again, but this time, they attacked her left arm. Now, that too, lay on the ground.
Devichi, now knowing that words wouldn’t get through to them, started to defend herself. In the end, she had won and was left with nothing but a pile of mangled bodies. Knowing that she was not able to die, she decides try and live as long as she can, or until she could get her revenge on Morrighan. With the abilities she’s gained beforehand, this may be nothing more of a cakewalk.

Yeah, I haven't been updating much. Hectic classes. Anyway, this was actually my homework assignment. Enjoy!
The character isn't new, but I had to pretend it was because we were suppose to be creating a masked character. Because of this, I faked some pre-sketches, not because I had to, but maybe I would be able to actually make a new character. Well, that didn't happen. I couldn't stare at centipedes that long and I thought the harpy form looked too much like the Falcon transformation in Mabinogi (which is where this character was originally for.)
Besides making a masked character, we had to, in the end, put the sketches, final, plus story all on one page... so basically a character sheet. So if anyone is build, feel free to draw Banshee Devi for me. >:3
Oh, and for those of you who are familiar with myths, legends, or monsters, yes Devichi isn't the typical Banshee. She's actually half Manananggal and half Penanggal, Filipino female monsters. The Manananggal is able to split her upper body from her lower body, however the Penanggal is able to detach her head from the rest of her body. Then the head and the body are detached, the head carries the entrails too.
FYI: I suck at making things "print friendly".
