Bruna was exposed to magic basically from the moment she was born. Her mom was a Magi that specialized in healing and herbology. She loved working with flowers and made beautiful arrangements for most weddings in Inor. Bruna's memories of her have the smell of damp earth, fertilizer, and cut grass.

Bruna's dad was unusual. He loved working with animals, even if said animals might be terrified of a large feline. His magnetism powers allowed him to work with human tools that would have been difficult for a regular Niravar to handle. He was a farrier by trade, but knew enough about animals to be something of the town's impromptu veterinarian. It helped when his wife could make tonics and medicine if a horse or cow needed it. He never really spoke about his birthplace. All Bruna knew about him was he wasn't an Inor native. The only thing the townsfolk could tell her was he just showed up one day with a backpack full of supplies, fell in love with his now-wife, and never left.
