My contest entry for 's Contest (20K!!) PRIZES UPDATEDHey guys!!
Alright first off, thank you so much for 20k watchers! It's flipping awesome that you all enjoy what I post enough to click that button. It really means a lot to me. That sounds sarcastic but I swear it isn't, haha! XD
Now, since I had a contest for 1k, and 10k, why not continue the tradition and have a 20k contest?
So here's the deal:
For this contest, you must create an original alien species. It can be humanoid, quadruped, completely messed up tentacle monsters, anything you want that is either comedic or awesome! Heck, if you want to create a fun new unicorn type thing you can. However, please do put some thought into how that species has evolved. Don't just slap something together, try to think about their development.
The contest will conclude and winners will be announced on the 21th of May! Read the rules fully in order to enter!

Species:
Latin Name: (Magnus Inanis Facies) Meaning: (Large Empty Face) Shortened Name: Magnaces
Species Info:
A large creature with now eye. Cave dwelling quadruped, semi aquatic in nature. Is able to sens it's position by smell and sensitive pads on long toes. Front feet have four fingers, back feet have three fingers. Biggest part of body is the tail, which has no mind or sense of it's own and is used mainly for fighting or to reach high places to get food.
Home Planet:
Stelarilis (A combination of the Latin words for "Barren" and "Star")
Planet Info:
Planet is a rocky, barren, land with few animals or plants. Most water is located underground in caves. Most animals live in caves and do not roam long above ground because of strong sunlight. Thin atmosphere with small amounts of oxygen. Just enough air to blow dust around in storms.
Colors:
Dull brown, greens, and grays. Occasional brighter markings on males to attract mates.
Genders:
Male and female depending on egg temperatures. Warmer for females and colder for males.
Average Lifespan:
30-50 years, mature at 10.
Weaknesses:
• Cannot see at all
• Hearing is not the best
• Subject to hip problems because of large and heavy tail
Strengths:
• Tail is able to smash through even the thickest materials
• Streamlined body for better swimming
• Very smart and able to solve advanced puzzles
Other Info:
Has no teeth so lives off of small organisms and aquatic plants. Can pick up vibrations through small ear holes but is unable to hear actual sounds. Can use muscular tail to prop itself up to reach high areas. Mouth on tail is used as another arm when not fighting and can grip onto various objects. Strong bones that are mainly broken by tail strikes from others. Mostly peaceful and live in small groups of mainly females. Cannibalistic towards young from other males.
