The Turtle relates to his Dark Tower series...there are Beams that hold up the Dark Tower, which essentially holds the universe together, and one of the Beams is capped by a Bear, named Shardik, on one end and a Turtle, Maturin, on the other.
Anyway, great picture...would've liked to have seen the silver eyes, but the mood is definitely there. I can see this guy hanging out in sewers.
