Description Our house can trace itself directly to a time when a terrible strife racked The Tempestus Segmentum. Upon the Feudal World of Sigil there was an age of absolute darkness where famine and loss were abundant. A humble priest of the Adeptus Ministorum was know to be a generous and kind hearted soul while also remaining staunchly devout in his faith. Many from across Sigil would come to hear his sermons to the God-Emperor. They filled the hearts of serf and noble alike with hope and devotion to the Imperial Faith. He was counsel and caregiver as even when a great pestilence swept across the continent in which he resided he forwarded all the donations and tithes he received, along with all his own possessions, to acquiring the services and transport of the Order Hospitaller. His church fell into disrepair due to the lack of funds, yet folk still came to listen to his sermons. Finally when the building gave way in a terrible storm he simply walked to a nearby field and proclaimed, “His word is not confined to simple rock and mortar.” This soon became somewhat of a proverb on the World of Sigil. When transport was finally arranged and the Sister Hospitaller stepped unto the planet, Almoness Advance, Sariah Fellandris, was so personally moved by the selflessness of the man that she declared his line to be forever blessed by the Emperor. They helped to create a Grand monastery near the capital and a smaller cloister up on the cliffs surrounding the city for the exceptionally devout to make pilgrimage to and for the priest to reside.
Soon though Hell itself poured through the void. Abominations fell from the very skies as warp storms cut the system off from the rest of the Imperium. Swaths of people were cut to ribbons before the steps leading to the cloister nestled in the rocky cliffs overlooking the planetary capital, yet thousands more remained within the monestary. My ancestor took up an opulent set of armor along with an antiquated, barely functional las pistol and stood at the gates of the great building. He fired lasbolt after lasbolt into the vile obscenities. Then another stood beside him. One of the Planetary defense force troopers stood with him in defiance. A simple nod was exchanged between them as they poured fire into the oncoming enemy. Then another trooper joined them. Then another. Soon a wall of ionizing shot was keeping the horrid beasts at bay. This scene was captured by an adminstratum servo skull and recorded it originally for proof there we’re still people in the monestary to Ben rescued, but it would end up being played across the world of Sigil.
Soon enough the forces of the Imperium arrived as the warp storms dissipated and a combined assault of Imperial Guard and PDF retook the capital. They found the monastery unscathed, and the roughly three thousands people within alive and well, yet thirty men lay dead at its gates. Priest Andrinev Petrovna, still clad in his armor and gripping his las pistol lay closest to the Grand door. His face seemingly peaceful in his final act. The Planetary Governor then granted me, his Grandson, Ganev Petrovna, a noble court rank for his deeds. Thus House Pertrovna was born.

Got the inspiration from a tattoo design from an unknown artist. Added in some Imperial iconography and the laspistol (it’s pointed straight up in the hand of the knight) hope you enjoy and feel free to give me feedback!
