Description Was bored so I drew one of my OCs 8 times in a row but for every different iteration I imposed graphical limitations of various game consoles on them. I would have more fun if I asked you to guess them, but I'll just spoil the surprise instead and list all of them below.

From left to right, top to bottom:

1 - True color: No limitations, basically how I would draw it normally. This is used more as a control case for comparison.
2 - Atari 2600: 128 colors, only 2 per scanline. Pixel size is 1x8.
3 - NES: 4 palletes of 4 colors (3 colors + shared transparency) out of a 54 color pallete. Only one pallete for every 16x16 tile space.
4 - Gameboy: 4-tone monochrome olive green pallete.
5 - Game & Watch: Black and white LCD display.
6 - Commodore 64: 16 colors, multicolor mode with 1x2 pixel size and 4 colors (3 colors + shared transparency) for every 4x8 tile space.
7 - ZX Spectrum: 15 colors, only 2 colors for every 8x8 tile space.
8 - Playstation 1: 3D rendering, 256x256 texture size, full 32-bit color palette with 57344 colors at once on screen. Small polygon amount per mesh. Supports dithering. No texture filtering, antialiasing or shading. (I confess I may have taken a few liberties on this one... Don't make fun of my bad 3D modeling skills please :C)
9 - Literally freaking nothing: It's nothing. Consider that a free space if I ever decide to add more.

All drawings were initially drawn in their respective consoles' native screen resolution and then scaled up to 1024x768. There may have been some pixel size distortions...

Disclaimer: No game consoles were harmed in the making of this drawing, all was done by hand. Feel free to tell me if I made a mistake, I will gladly correct it whenever possible.

Yes, I am the biggest freaking nerd in the whole universe.
