Description Nope, still no snappy title for these. Oh well.

I live! I'm so sorry for the absence this past month. I got really sick for a while (just a really nasty allergy attack, don't worry, but it came back for round two shortly after) and another problem arose that I'll get into another time (provided nothing else happens). Needless to say, January was not a fun month for me. Back on topic, once that whole mess was over and done with, I finally got this finished. Part one's over here www.deviantart.com/mistressofm… Part two's here www.deviantart.com/mistressofm… and part three's here www.deviantart.com/mistressofm…

Woo boy, was this one tricky. Mechagodzilla wasn't too much trouble design-wise, since he is a straight up robot version of Godzilla all across the franchise. The hard part came from trying to do a robot design on the body. I got as far as his torso, and then I realized it just wasn't going to happen, so I had his coat drawn zipped up and left it at that.
Biollante is where I intentionally went the simple route. Not just because there isn't much to her in terms of design, but I wanted to leave it vague on just how human she is by covering up as much as I could. Is it a Poison Ivy situation where she is fully human but rides around on a plant, or is half of her still very much plant-like and those venus flytraps behind her actually a part of her? You decide.
SpaceGodzilla was the wildcard here. How? Well, I wasn't sure who was going to take the third spot here. It came down to a toss-up between him or Battra. Needless to say, he won the coin toss. As with Mechagodzilla, he's a copy of the big G (for those who haven't seen the movie, don't ask. It's a long story), so putting it all together was the easy part. I'm not used to drawing crystals, so I apologize on those. I also couldn't resist drawing him floating there, just to shake up the lineup.
Destoroyah was the hardest one, just like when I did the Kaiju Collection drawings. My whole thought process cooking up his design was 'Demon,' plain and simple (his name's not for show after all). Even if he was a total pain in the ass detail-wise, from his crown, wings, tail, and that big yellow thing on his chest (that's not a pattern on his shirt, that's actually part of him), I'm still impressed with how he came out.

And I think that about caps it for this project. I know there's plenty more kaiju I could do, some not even from Toho, but I could always come back to it later down the line. That's how I usually roll with projects. Besides, I've got other things that need my attention right now. One of which is a little surprise I whipped up while working on this drawing here. What is it? You'll see...

I own nobody here. Toho does. I just drew them for fun.
