I <3 Autumn and spring scenes. Esp. at sunset. Makes the heart all full of love, and makes you feel fuzzy inside XDD Seeing Ash and Misty under a tree at sunset makes tears of joy flow. Wow. This is beautiful beyond words. I'm amazed with how you've been able to capture a peaceful and romantic mood with your shading. The strong highlights and subtle edge glowing/shading make the picture appear very soft and pleasing. I'm also impressed with how well you've pulled off the angle that the picture is at. It's something that I've never been able to do well, and I respect your ability to do so. I also like the design descisions you've made with the picture (letting Misty's hair down, not including her suspender straps, etc). The expression on her face is so relaxed, but at the same time, so happy.
It's work like this that only proves that art isn't about being able to draw this/that/everything perfectly, it's about conveying emotions and feelings. Art is communication, and is meant to make the viewer feel a certain way when looking at the image, and I feel like I could reach into the screen and hold her tightly right about now
