Ohh, this is amazing.
I just finished Clannad (both the TV series and the movie) but my first Key experience was Air TV. I finally bought the movie of Air after some time, and am currently working on the new Kanon series.
I'm liking Kanon, but it feels slow and I don't have a lot of liking for Yuuichi--he's just kind of there. Clannad was amazing and gorgeous and Okazaki was awesome and really funny.
But Air was another level of amazing. The storytelling was beautiful, and I loved every single one of the characters from the minute I saw them--which happens fairly rarely. Misuzu was beautiful and you just wanted to hug her--I got really sad when she started crying. I bawled even harder when she died. ;___; The movie was also horribly sad, even though I -was- expecting it--it's Air after all, Misuzu isn't supposed to live. ;___;
Though the Clannad movie was sad too. I didn't quite like it as much as Air--the Clannad movie felt really rushed--but oh god, Ushio was so cute. x_X
I rank Air first. Clannad is a very close second, and Kanon ranks third. Kanon might move up if I keep watching it though. XD

Oh yeah you had the same experience as me! Lol I saw air first and got hooked fast. But I was like that is the saddest ting i have seen yet and then i saw a comment under air saying clannad was sadder and I was like no way so i watched the movie first... ALMOST cried didn't really then i watched the series and had an ounce of hope until they came out with the after story... I was like...ok the theme songs are awesome but there is no way in HECK I'm watching it lol. Then I saw kanon it was touching but just there the most neck and neck animes from key I love are Air and Clannad. But air first I mean you can't forget Misuzu. Nagisa either but the dangos annoy me kind of...Ushio was cute. BUT I have to say just by 1 point more I like Tomoyo after and her story of Clannad better... Idk maybe because she doesn't die Like Nagisa did... lol or because she can kick butt and she's cute lol but it's a tie between Nagisa and Tomoyo but by 1 point i like Tomoyo more.

I agree with you on the Tomoyo point! Okazaki and Nagisa are cute (and their kid is adorable) but I think Okazaki and Tomoyo just click a whole lot more.
I want to watch Air again, but it'll make me cry if I do. ;-;

Yeah you're where I am lol. I love Nagisa and Okazaki and Ushio I do...until she dies and the baby dies, and so on. ((From wikipedia)) BUT I felt more of a reality Connection with Tomoya and Tomoyo better. And she's got spunk. So yeah it's a tie but Tomoyo wins by one point. As for air... I listen to the music and everything but when im ready to type in air episode one dub and it pops up i like click out of there goin "MISUZU!!! WHY?!!!" I did a air Tori no Uta song though

I personally think Clannad was a bit disappointing,
but that's cause not much happens in there,
I expected more, but that's proabably cause I have seen AIR and Kanon first,
and lots of sad things happen in those. The movie was sad though,
I recently saw it and it was really sad what happend to Nagisa.
I do agree that it seems a bit rushed, hehe but that's what you get in an 1,5 hour movie ^^
I think Kanon will definitely gets better for you, it's very sad ;_;
So AIR still first for me, Kanon second and third Clannad

I think what keeps me from liking Kanon so far is I kind of don't like Yuuichi, as I mentioned. I think it's because I keep comparing him to Yukito or Tomoya. To me, Yuuichi's kind of bland so far--maybe that means I should watch some more of Kanon. XD

yeah okazaki was I thought the most hottest anime guy...till I watched fruit baskets and saw the cat..Never been the same since...(Kyo is fiiinnneee.) So is the cow lol

God, I am obsessed with Air. It's totally my favorite anime show, EVER. Then it's Kanon. Makoto and Kanna are my favorite characters from them! Clannad was good too...

Then Yuuchi lol he was most carin sorta lol and then Yukito! ause Yukito cracker me up kinda like he was emo or somethin lol but yukito's my fav key guy but hottest is okazaki l then yuuchi

OK I LOVE MISUZU she's just like me key is like asasins or somethin for killin all 3 of them though ayu survived in the end in kanon. And i like clannad song opening but other then that all i know is nagisa had the child and then died int he movie that was messed up so i love misuzu out of all of them

There was the hot oka guy then the girl who couldn' akit up the hill nagisa and she makes a drama club and somethin about a dango he has weird dreams she has the save next thing i know he likes her she's pregnant she dies he sees the baby the end lol I was like whhhaaaa??? LOL but i like the opening song got that on my ipod

i love kanon <333 too long tho.... but i hav to say air is the sadest tho... and clannad has the best shading/coloring xD soo its accually i like 'em all but still i like kanon the best tee hee Ayu and Shiori FTW <3333

AIR is the teh bestest one out of all those series it made me cry soo much T_T clannad and kanona are both fricken aweosme...but no where near as good as air! misuzu is one of my fave alll time characters haha o0o0! btw AWESOE JOB ON THE PIC! i wish i could colour like you

Air the only thing that I watched that made me cry so much. I shed tiny tears for Titanic, but AIR. Just...it was...WOW.
