- “In Private” – on a ferry passage back from Cheung Chau to Central, Hong Kong, March 1997
I happily got myself caught by a day tripper couple’s short intimate play on middle deck in front of a water curtain, since the hazy view wasn’t very exciting anyway. My favorite shot of this wondrous increase of hands (beginning from top left) of course is #5.
What they were talking about, is just left to speculation. The whole sequence’s associated subtitles are: “The fish there was good!” – One for digestion. – “Hold it!” – Just warming up. – Anticipation./Ready! Set! – ... Gone.
