Hallo, I really like your dedication to roman history. I too am very much interested in roman history. Could you please answer one simple question regarding your weapon? I'm very interested in Roman archery. So far I've found out that romans didn't have a dedicated bow. They generally used the auxiliary troops as archers (Cretan/Scythian/Syrian). The bow you use. What kind of bow is it? And perhaps more important to me personally, where could someone buy them?
I did found a Scythian horsebow from Flagella Dei. I wondered if such a bow would fit a Roman impression
such as you have constructed here.
I really hope you can help me. I've been looking all over the place for bows that could fit for Roman reenactment.
