Well well well, it’s been a long time since I posted an exclusively Touhou related drawing.In all honesty, I actually have been getting back into the Touhou franchise recently. Particularly, the PC98 series of games. I just adore the character designs, the underlying creepiness of it all, and especially the themes. The fact that locations such as hell and Makai (not to mention Shinki essentially being Satan) are so common just make me love it.
Anyway, so I decided to draw up a picture dedicated to the characters from Hell and Makai, from Touhou 1 and 5. I decided to give the picture a biblical mural vibe, to make it ooz the beautiful yet creepy tone these characters give me.
