Wow! This took almost a week to finish. Phew!

Anyway, I’m back from my hiatus, which means I’m back with the crossover artwork again. I can’t resist the urge to cross both Touhou and Jojo together. It’s like an addiction. They’re two franchises that just look so pleasing together. And, who doesn’t love a good old crossover battle image?
I decided to draw a stand off between characters from Jojo: Stardust Crusaders, And a mix of random Touhou characters (mainly playable) that correlate well with the latter.

Reasons behind the battle choices:
Jotaro Vs Reimu: I’ve been seeing these two paired with each other a lot lately (either romantically or as close crossover friends) which is why I decided to pit them against one another in this image. Also, they’re both quite blunt individuals with immense fighting skill. I’d love to see Reimu’s yin yang go against Star Platinums punches. They’re also the protagonist of their respective franchises.

Polnareff Vs Youmu: They’re both fast, skilled, silver haired swordmen with completely opposite personalities. I also pair these two together with a burning passion. I think it’s really cute. I occasionally see fan art of these two together and I love it. However, I thought they’d look extremely interesting fighting against one another.

Kakyoin Vs Marisa: This one doesn’t have as much popularity nor depth as the others, but I have my reasons. I feel like Marisa would be the type to offer to fight against him in a battle (or perhaps even flirt, lol). I also enjoy the idea of Emerald Splash and Master Spark being used against each other in a fight scenario.

Avdol Vs Mokou: Fire on Fire! This one was pretty obvious since these two both are fire users and have connections to a bird of some kind (whether that be the overall form of Avdol’s Magicians Red, or Mokou’s Phoenix wings). I’ve also been seeing on ton if fan art of Mokou using Avdol’s Stand. However, unlike the other characters featured in this crossover, I do not also pair these two. Although, In a fight they would make for very tough opponents.

Dio Vs Sakuya: What needs to be said about this? Everybody knows this couple would make for one very epic battle! Two individuals with connections to vampirism, using time stops and many, many knives. They’d beat the living crap out of each other, but that would be awesome. It’s pretty out in the open of why I chose to put these two against each other in a crossover fight image. Also, again, I do pair this.

Joseph Vs Kasen: This was one I had never even thought of until I looked up crossovers regarding both these franchises. But Now, I love it! I assume it’s because of the fact that they both go under the title of “Hermit” in their respective franchises, and how their attacks are long ranged and based on one of their arms. The arm of which, being artificial. I also think that they’d also make a cute couple. However, these two would both destroy one another in a fight.

I really enjoyed drawing this, and I’m very proud of the background and how the perspective came out. I’m so happy with how the finished product turned out!
