My entry for MENDERTale’s Fifth Anniversary competition!

‘Within this season, newfound light ascends. Darkness clears from the skies, clouds and sun spattered amongst it. Souls glimmer with clarity, split, shattered, yet hopeful. This is what we see. This is what you see. This is the future.’
The inspiration here was the ‘Springtime’ prompt, which I tried to convey within several aspects of the art, with the flowers on Gen’s side nodding to their blooming in spring, and the Echo Flowers next to Gaster to be added symbolism to the AU itself. The foliage in front represents the color of Gen and Gaster’s SOUL. Special thanks to Orchuris , violetsiren77 , and GavinETC for feedback and help!
