Description
THIS TUTORIAL IS FOR DRAWING SIMPLE DOGS.If you are looking for detailed and anatomically correct tutorials about dogs/wolves/whatever, this is not the tutorial to use.
I made this tutorial after I've come a cross a couple of people here and in chat rooms who told me that they want to iScribble dogs with other people, but they can't because they suck.
Well, you're not gonna get anywhere if you don't even try!
So I made this in hopes that it will allow people who have never drawn dogs before to start drawing dogs in a SIMPLE style.
As long as you can draw stick figures and a very basic dog face, it doesn't matter if it "sucks". Just tell the others that you're still practicing, and have FUN iScribbling!!
To be honest, there are times when I wish some people drew stick figures instead of trying too hard to draw something and erasing it a billion times, ending up with no progression.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You do not have to clear each step one at a time to move on to the next!
First, just read through the whole tutorial and decide how you are going to pace yourself.
Also: Guess what. Even the best of the best canine artists started out with complete shit.
Have you ever seen a 2 year old draw something like what you see in the anime WOLF'S RAIN?
See?
I can't stress this enough, but it's all about PRACTICE and EFFORT. Heck, if I practice well enough, there might come a day when I make human animations! Wow.
Hint: If you want real-time critiques and suggestions, it may be a good idea to make a drawing board on iScribble titled "Teach me How to Draw Dogs Please".
I won't recommend asking IRL friends, because depending on who you choose, you may become upset by what they say directly to you, whereas when you do so online, you won't be face-to-face with the person helping you.
All right, guys, let's get drawin' some doggies!!
And for those of you who haven't witnessed the horror that is "Ginga Densetsu WEED" ANIME, here it is.
Have either or both a barf bag and/or eye bleach.

Sorry, I don't draw wolves so I'm not really sure.
I just draw and edit until I think it looks like a wolf. Basically the facial structure and tail posture is different from dogs.
If you want to practice drawing wolves, please look for another tutorial. I'm sure there are plenty out there since wolves are so popular here.
This tutorial is for real beginners.
