Description I did this piece not as a demonstration of skills or anything like that.
I did it to experiment in many, many ways that are new to me.

A river of warm colors brightening as they come closer,
and a field of cool colors chilling as they get further away.

I intentionally made the tree vastly out of proportion for no other reason than i wanted to.

I tried to use as many brush strokes as possible and i ended up with a very neat grunge style.

I also did not use a specific light source, I used a very generic one that seems to come form behind and in front.

I made up stories as I was drawing this, as to why this girl is here,
how did the colors get this way?
is this place imaginary to her?

because I didn't make this piece for any real reason.

I find the worst art, no matter how skilled the artist, is art that can't be interpreted; tailored to an individual.
or rather art that can be MIS-interpreted because it only has one meaning.
