Description
Britannic was the third largest ship in the world at that time and was a sister of the other sister ships Titanic and Olympic. It was brought by the armed forces ministry in 1914 to serve as a hospital and troop transport for the First World War. She was sent to the Mediterranean in 1916 and was forced to stop at Naples due to a storm. In the morning of 21st November 1916 at 08:12AM a explosion from a sea mine erupted, Captain Bartlett ordered an evacuation. As she started sinking, her engines were still in slow making lowering the lifeboats difficult. At 09:07, the Britannic had sunk with sadly 21 people being killed (most from an lifeboat accident). The wreck is located near the island of Kea.Related content

I sometimes fantasize about an alternate version, where Britannic is in her RMS colors and in Rhode Island.
