Latest scene from my story " #Marsdale".

Features 3DU's "Nelson" character with some exaggerated morphs dialed-in and "Matt" by Matari3D as "Patrick Pent".

Part of the reason I scrapped the earlier image with these two is I noticed some translucency issues with the arms and legs. I think I fixed it in a later image by bumping up the translucency values by +0.05.

Additionally, right after the man approaches the young traveler to ask him if he's ok, "Nelson" tells "Patrick" quite frankly that he needs to charge so I wanted to highlight front-and-center that Nelson isn't human.

In fact that's the whole premise for this story.

In a #ParallelUniverse #androids and #robots have started to become #sentient and when they do they are hunted down and destroyed. A mysterious figure or force is #transporting these sentient creatures across #dimensions and they are landing in the #fictional #town of Marsdale.

The Marsdale universe is basically like our universe. We have robots that vacuum our floors and even robots that can perform some surgeries but we are quite far away from having anything that would be sentient. So most of the story is how this fictional small town somewhere in #Ohio copes with this #influx of sentient androids seeking #asylum and what to do with them.

Not to mention the #Federal #Government wants to get-in on the action, too.
