In my fanfic Ruby is a fan of Optimus Primal, and this was inspired by Simbiothero 's fact and how in his Crossverse, Ruby Rose is a fan of Optimus Prime. And that would inspire me to make my version of Ruby a fan of Optimus Primal, seeing as in many ways Prime and Primal are very similar to one another.

And the story for this is that, during the Remnants of RWBY arc in the second part of my fanfic, me and the Maximals would travel to the world of Remnant and we would encounter and befriend Team RWBY. And during this time, Ruby would begin to show her interests with Optimus Primal and she would begin to see him in a light as if she were one of her heroes. And by the time of the Heroes Unite arc, her relationship with Primal would start to mirror's Izuku's relationship with All Might, as during his spare time he would train with Ruby, and during their training they would form a close bond, and Ruby would learn more about being a leader from Primal, as even though he's an inexperienced leader for his Maximals, he still won't crack under pressure and still be the leader that his friends need in their time of need, something that Ruby aspires to be with her friends.
