Jhonen Vasquez wanted to kill him, but the Nickelodeon not accpeted this 'cause they thought this is too violence (...ha ¬¬

But Keef appeared in other episodes like an extra character, ya know?

And in Return of Keef he didn't die, his head exploded, yes, but then he said "I'm okay, now, I'm calm" and Zim said then that he will not appear at skool for some weeks...

Summarizing he didn't die, he's still alive
