anyway there's this invasion of large slugs in my area from some tropical nation and they're thriving because my city is about as tropical as one can get while still remaining in the united states and outside florida.

plants that are annuals elsewhere live extremely long healthy lives and hibiscus will grow upward of twenty feet if not pruned regularly.

either way here's a giant ugly slug-critter.

anyway they are probably the animal that creeps me out the most with the exception of hagfish and sea cucumbers.
