It is March 9 today and this was taken yesterday on a nice hike that was much needed. While I wasn't exactly keen on hiking in that particular spot, I did it anyway just for the fact that I was already there. As dispassionately as I felt about the spot, it did get my mind going the deeper I went into the woods. The signs of spring are abundant in there, even if you might not be able to tell just yet. There is also a calmer feeling the further in, so I started to get a bit more enthusiastic and took quite a lot of pictures, some that are really interesting.

I love how this one turned out, and I thought about cropping it but then again, it seemed appropriate to just let it be the centerpiece of the focus. I hope you like it as much as I do. <3
