This is how you do a cartoon based on a movie because this is perhaps the best one I have ever seen. The elements that return from the movie are translated very well while the new elements they add fit into the world perfectly and make it feel more fleshed out. It has a good balance of action, comedy, and drama and invokes that unique feeling that was brought on by early to mid 2000s teenage superhero cartoons specifically like Kim Possible or Teen Titans. I felt that Wasabi, Fred, Gogo, and Honey Lemon were fun yet underdeveloped in the movie, but here they become fully fleshed out and realized characters. With that being said the best character in this franchise is still Baymax who is lovable and charming as ever. The most interesting thing about this show is how well written the overarching storyline is and how intimidating the villain is. If you love teenage superhero teams this should be perfect for you.
