So far this is my favorite cartoon that I have seen in the 2020s. The characters are very charming and interesting, the animation is quite fluid and colorful, the world is incredibly creative, the story is fascinating and I can't wait to see how it unravels, and the music is really good (but what would you expect from the people who did the soundtrack for Into The Spiderverse). Speaking of the soundtrack I was basically listening to it throughout the entirety of writing this review. My favorite characters on the show are easily Kipo and Wolf who have such an interesting and likable dynamic between them that I want to see more of. A lot of people have been saying that this show reminds them of other things which actually makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Kipo is voiced by Karen Fukuhara who also did Glimmer from She-Ra, it is animated by Studio Mir who did The Legend Of Korra and Voltron, and as I mentioned previously the soundtrack is from the same guys who did it for Into The Spiderverse. Also, the art style really reminds me of the original Teen Titans cartoon. Overall I think that this is an incredible cartoon and I can't wait to see more from it. It isn't nearly as popular as some of its animated Netflix contemporaries so I hope some of you try this show out. It is so good and I find it to be very underrated.
