When I was working another Brony analysts painting of Silver Quill - I knew I wanted to do a little bit different painting. So then I thought about adding a negative space (or a shadow )The reasons why I added a negative space (or a shadow) in the painting because to see what it looks like in the painting and to do something new....
However, I do asked myself whether the neg. space (or shadow ) it works with the splatter paninting in the background or not - so then I just give it my best shot at it (trying out new things)
