I watched your speedpaint, and I'm surprised the tools you used mostly were the pencil and brush tools! I'm an MS.Paint user yet I use the curve and line tool, this is amazing,I thought this was made in SAI XD I saw this in my messages under the group Ms Paint ponies and I was wondering why there's a "SAI-Looking" type of art here, this is true incredible Ms.Paint art! I like how you made the forest so detailed and the realistic shading in Fluttershy's hair.

Thanks! I had people questioning why I claimed all my art was made in MS Paint because they said it didn't look it, so I started doing the speedpaint videos as proof, LOL.

That background took 4 hours though. XP I try to work in large scales when I want to have a lot of details since the tools can only get so big.

wow really? I admit I gaped when I saw this art, and I thought it was made in SAI, but even before watching your speedpaint I can tell you used a lot of brush tools (didn't know you used the pencil tool though, I can't see it so clear in the picture) I used to draw lineart with brushes and it looked terrible, so now I use the curve and line tool, I should try using the brush tool for detailed backgrounds, I see a lot of people making backgrounds with brushes rather than tools.

4 hours?! does that include procrastinating and other stuff? one character would take me 4 hours to draw already LOL
I make my drawings with large scales too, but I don't tend to make such detailed drawings, I still need to learn how to shade properly. I was hoping the next time I draw a human or alien humans I could make detailed hair like how you did with Fluttershy, I'm impressed ^^

To be honest, I'm actually new to detailing hair like that. My first try was on my Twilight Sparkle piece and I've just been practicing from there, though I think I did better on her than on this piece subject wise. 

Well, the background took 4 hours and Fluttershy took almost another hour because I couldn't decide whether I wanted to try another coloring style or just keep with what I've been doing lately. It does include random stops to visit youtube though. I found this cognitive music that practically hypnotizes you and makes you focus.

I believe it's called Carbon Based Life Forms. When you search that on youtube whole 1 hour long music strips show up so I kept clicking on those while I worked.

I see, I saw your Twilight deviation, it looks very awesome ^^ Practice more and I know you can make it better, but I think it already looks nice! I might try to do some detailed hair on my next human piece if possible.

more styles you can do = more talent ^^ I have a lot of styles but most of them makes my art look terrible, so these days I'm drawing a lot of thick black lineart with cell shades, but I'm thinking to move on to more complex shading...that's when I saw your art and I'm all wow.
do you use a mouse? I use a mouse when I draw, and I can't draw without a mouse XDDD I'm learning though.

Actually I use a tablet. XD
this would totally have taken much longer had I used a mouse.

Though a few years ago I used to draw in MS Paint using only a touchpad because all I had was my laptop. That work is on my other account that I semi abandoned. Once I get more time I'll be working on my wolf comic again, until then I'm having fun with this fan art stuff.

Oh wow everyone uses a tablet,it seems I'm old fashion computers XD JK...
But my mom has a tablet, yet it seems the tablet is not made to make drawings, or are you guys buying this specific tablet special for drawing? I'm slightly confused.

I have a laptop as well, no computer. (although sometimes I would just say my laptop is my "computer") and i draw in MS.Paint on laptop with mouse, I can't draw on touchpad XD strange.
What's your other account? I would love to read some pages of your comic ^^

I made a bunch of mini comics along with the 100+ comic Labwolf that I'm rewriting to fix the plot. The new version of it, Labwolf Armageddon has only 3 pages right now I think. However the original version was the one I drew with a touchpad.
