Nothing could have prepared Ezra for the Hive to suddenly attack the camp. He was not a fighter, and he knew it. It was not long before a Hive wolf found him and could take notice of Ezra's inability to fight. The gray and brown male tried to run away from the situation, but the Hive wolf had already been going at him. These brutes were so huge and terrifying. How could such foul beasts exist. The young male thought that this was surely going to be the last moments of his life, when all of a sudden, he noticed his friend Synnove. His eyes widened when he noticed her. She was going out of her way to protect him? What must she think of him? Surely she must think he was a coward for not fighting back or defending himself. He knew Phanuel would think poorly of him and make it known should he have seen his display of vulnerability. Snapping away from his thoughts, he got up and while he struggled, he tried to do something to help her fight until the Hive wolf went away.
