named "Design Dump 1" pre-emptively because i know what i'm capable of. i don't even know if this sort of thing is even allowed in the group considering it's like. BARELY, like SCARCELY related to canon or PCs. but i'm loading it for posterity's & convenience's sake. so Now You Have It donut steal and all, these are still my concepts

1. Aikaterine and a yet-to-be-named Silvally (both Fuyumi's familiars) as Magicals! i genuinely had so much fun designing Aika that i am forever crying about not being able to canonize her. i mean i COULD. but i wouldn't want to get rid of Aika the familiar, and it'd feel weird to have both Aikas in the group ???

2. wanted to try and design a magical that appealed to me Directly. this one got kinda close but i wasn't super feeling it. maybe if i did a few more design passes. still happy w/the roman legion armor tho

3. all my planned magicals are based on a concept that Witches (and vaguely Magicals) have and are adapted into their powers: Fuyumi is a Witch's Labyrinth; my second is a Witch's Kiss/thrall; my third is curses. i very nearly went for this Falinks kid, whose witch concept would've been Familiars: their entire family made contracts with Kyubey at some point (their parents had them young. and uh. died. so cool), so they were sort of compelled into the magical lifestyle before they were old enough to make a contract. i don't remember how they were going to word the wish, but it would've enabled them to create summons from their surroundings so that they'd always have "assistance." i still think about them. maybe they'll show up in the future. idk yet.

4. bro idek about her i think it was about mahou who wanted to be hairdressers

5. design exercise. ended up REALLY liking that swalot. i think about her so often

6. sorry i got a lot of mileage with kasumi (fuyumi's mimi) wanting to be a magical girl. don't worry about those other two magicals. they're just kind of there y'know. kasumi definitely did not know them

7. drew old characters as magicals because honestly at this point why now

8. Alucard concept as well as a "therapy magical" concept

9. i REALLY wanted this galarian stunfisk concept to work but i just wasn't able to get very far with them. maybe another day... i love u sweet prince...
