Yes, I am well aware of the left wing in the back looking thoroughly off, but this has been sitting on my drive for a while and I don't really want to pick it apart again like a freshly scabbed-over wound.
Her design is derived from polar and silver foxes (obviously) and vultures, which are among the highest-flying birds. Cirrus clouds are a high-altitude species of cloud, reaching up to 20 000m (66 000ft). The canine-avian combination was chosen to keep in line with the other two weather gods of her generation.
Design might be altered in the comic.
