I tried to explain this as simple as I could.
ALWAYS make sure your base/model has base physics!
Otherwise you have to add them or add a bone set that has them.C'=

wow, one model i got had the bad habit of melting altogether... (the maker said to turn off physics if you wanted to use the model), it was a luka and looked cool with physics off, but once you turned them on she melted.
