Description
In The Transformation, Gumball is asked to settle a dispute when Penny and her parents argue over an old family tradition she doesn't want to follow. In a scene where Gumball tells a story, you can see these cocoons hung at the same positions of the Fitzgeralds as they were sitting during this scene. The one on the right is colored yellow. In the first pic, you can see the Fitzgerald family. Penny and the fourth cocoon have the same color. So my theory is that the colors of the cocoons all resemble the Fitzgeralds. Purple resembles Polly, Red resembles Judith, and pink resembles Patrick (as said by TAWOG HEADCANNONS).
