This picture came to me the other day, and i really wanted to draw it, so i did it in art class since im so far ahead ^w^Im really quite proud of it 8D

You know, I think your screenname has risen to fame on your coloring skills alone.
Your examples of coloring, shading, and contrast really make your works stand out.But now I see, that your style retains it's eye pleasing quality even in grayscale. The lighting is excellent, and the emerald mimics a real, glossy surface. For this I applaud you.
In terms of improvement, I suggest you work on your anatomy and proportions. I see that the way you draw hands has improved significantly, but you should work on your faces, particularly profiles.I admit side views give me difficulty as well.Cartoons are cartoons, but your fans will approve if you make your work more believable.
