beautiful, full of melancholy, and hurt... It's a very complex portrait I think I can relate to.
I recently decided to take sugar out my diet for a while, I cannot medicate myself with it any longer. I can't use food to make myself unwanted by others out of my fear of being touched.
I love this because it leaves me feeling a little raw and expose.

I don't know why, but System of a Down's song Sugar popped into my head when I saw this. Maybe because I have been sitting around all day. Anyways, I don't think this image has any kind of similarity to an advert for cocaine. A sort of "Got Milk?" inspired parody with sugar, sure. I agree with =waltzinghippie : no makeup is teh awesome. I just like the starkness that the black and white affords. Great tones and shadows.

Well, for me, I've just gotten so used to seeing women wearing makeup, some a little and some a lot, that when I do find a woman comfortable with her own beauty, it's an instant attraction. There should be more women fine with displaying themselves and not concealing anything. It's better, IMHO.

oh i love this. such a new thing to see from you, yet keeping some of that magic 'mnoo' feel. i love the disheartend eyes, the way the hair frames the piece, the choice of the black and white and how it makes it so much more emotional. and the sugar is just a wonderful addition.
