FINALLY!!! Winning moment for TFP discussions week 8 - Episodes 42-47
I was hyped that Optimus and Megatron fought again (in fact, a much better battle than the one in Revenge of the Fallen - both had a battle in Egypt as well). The battle using both Star sabers (although, what could a better name instead of Dark Star saber?) until one sword shatters...literally. In fact, this scene I think had one of the best dialogue I have ever heard in this episode
MGT: "At last we take our rightful places, Optimus, as gods, wielding the power of the cosmos."
OP: "I am but a soldier, Megatron, and you are a prisoner of your own twisted delusions!"

I think a better name for Megsy's sword would be something like "Black Hole" or "Despair" xD But I dunno that's just me and my silly Spiral Knight geekyness coming out. (Go and play Spiral Knights...ITS AWESOME.)

Well, I. Have mixed feelings about it. Actually, I love it XD I know the ending was really sad, but for some reason ai get the feeling Optimus came out of that well (now he would be able to live a normal life ^^)

Ah, yeah. I'm the same, but I hated the fact the TFP crew were trying to get rid of him for the second time!

Well....I guess ya have a point. At least it was a peaceful death (and not being killed by Megatron or by a an exploded base). Maybe that's why I felt fine when he went to the well. Again, sure it was sad, but at least he left peacefully. And we all had to face reality someday when someone close we loved will soon leave too ^^
And beside, hopefully there would be a new show to look forward too (hopefully it'll be just as good as TFP) ^^
