Description
During September of last year I made a few sketches of illustrations for my novel I was working on (paused atm).
This is the only piece I have finished so far and it shows Mink and Varg the protagonists reading a novel together, after Varg has both his hands bandaged. In the scene Varg is reading out loud while Mink is turning the pages for him.

Excerpt:

Varg’s voice brushed past near her right ear and she closed her eyes to get a better view of the pictures it painted. He read more fluently than Mink expected him to. His intonation perfectly matched the content of the story and its characters. She enjoyed the proximity, his warmth against her back and the story, which was the first she heard after her flight from the laboratory. Immersing herself in the world of the novel came easy to her and she suspected Varg’s way of reading to be the main reason for that.
“Hey, don’t fall asleep. You have to turn the pages!”, he said and she obliged.
“Sorry, I was completely lost in the story”, Mink mumbled.
There was a short silence, then she nudged him in the rips. “Come on, read!”
