So I wanted to make this for a really long time, and I figured that Espio could use a better story in the Boom Universe. So I gave him one as well as a new look. I also added his little (not really, more like massive) Tracon, Skyraid, to the picture.

In my version of the Boom Universe, the Chaotix is a little different. Espio isn't a member. Mighty replaces Espio in the team as the brains and PROBABLY Speed/Power Type mix. So where IS Espio in all this mess? Well, definitely NOT with a team. In this universe, Espionyris Zicora is one of the last chameleons left in existance. A ninja prince running away from a troubled, past full of darkness and doubt, Espio is on his own. Ever since his tribe was destroyed, leaving only a few dozen alive, by Dr. Eggman (for unknown reasons), he's been living in the Outlands (the world outside his home) as a solitary chameleon who trusts no one. However, over the course of about ten years, Espio has always had one ally with him; a Sky Tracon named Skyraid. The two make the ultimate dragon/rider team. They travel the world and help out the innocent whenever the time is needed, but most of the time they just fly and challenge each other just for the fun of it.

Espio is rather serious, but in this universe he isn't AS serious. He's more carefree and courageous than responsible and domesticated, never wanting to stop on his travels across the world. He doesn't trust anyone, though, but Skyraid and himself, so befriending him isn't an easy task. He NEVER encounters other people during his travels and would rather avoid any communication or encounter with Outworlders as he likes to call them. However, there is one exception: when he's doing what is truly right and helping the innocent. You may be able to talk to him for a little while if you're lucky. Highly opinionated and rather hot headed, he WILL pick a fight. Physically or socially. Be careful. To add, deep down he has a strong desire to avenge his tribe and destroy Dr. Eggman, but he keeps that to himself and usually doesn't look back on it. One reason he avoids people.

His main apparel is rather simple but truly has meaning behind it. The piercing on the sides of his crest are a Zicora Family custom, indicating his royal status (if you remember that the Bride of Constant Vigil has those same piercings). There's three golden slashes that run over his left eye (as a reminder of what happened that dreadful day). Most of the time, you won't be able to see his true face, for he wears a Dragon Mask over his face to hide his true identity and to hide his scars. Also, it belonged to a father he never knew existed. His brown cape also belonged to his father. His shoes are royal purple with black, metal padding that connect to a matching band over the sole. He wears a bunch of bandages, especially over his chest, to hide more scars and wounds. His gloves are simply white with the ends of the fingers cut off to allow wall walking.

As for powers, they haven't really changed. As a chameleon, he has color changing, a long tongue, independent eyes, wall walking, and a prehensile tail as powers. As a ninja, he's a master at throwing shurikens and little knives. He's also got mastery in kunais. However, his preferred weapon is his glorious sword, Tesinarys itslef (the most powerful sword in ninja history). He has the Leaf Twirl and many other wind altering abilities up his sleeve as well as the ability to become and travel within the wind. One thing hasn't changed: He can communicate with the spirits of the forces of nature and elements. This little uniqueness gives him an advantage in battle. His strongest ability is due to his bond with the Dragons of the Spirit Realm (the kings of the realm actually), and that power is to harness true Dragon Magic. He doesn't do this often, only in extreme emergencies, but he isn't hesitant to use it either. Finally, he has a sense of purity and knowing what the right thing to do it. That also comes in handy.
