in the mojave, cross-clan relationships are legal and fine. the three clans are pretty friendly with each other, and cats can cross the border more or less freely. if a cross-clan couple has kits, they usually move in together to raise them but not always. flicker and daisy's parents stayed in their own clans, and then when they turned 6 moons they were allowed to pick who they wanted to live with and flicker decided to move in with dad in sunclan (:
