I am so in love with this movie. You have no idea.
Hence the animation.
Spent about 6 hours total on this in PS CS4, then compiled and smoothed out and such in Flash.
I was a silly fish and tried drawing each scale at first. Halfway through coloring all the frames (30) I realized that changing the scatter/spacing on the opacity airbrush wouldn't look as cheesy as I had anticipated. Oops.
Please no critiquing on this. I am well aware of the choppyness, anatomy issues, the fact that he looks like a fish, and generally just messing up his design (which is beast, by the way).

Ahhhh!!!! I loved that movie so much!
After watching it I fell into a mini coma where I couldn't do any work because I was too busy fantasizing about a romantic flight through the clouds on a dragon xD
And now I'm really far behind on schoolwork that I should be doing right now... whatever.
Anyways, who cares if it's a little choppy? Each frame is drawn well enough to be it's own individual submission. If you added a background and just 1 more frame to the flip (it's the only part where he seems to be moving too fast) nobody would notice the choppiness at all.
And to be honest, I didn't notice any anatomical issues until you pointed them out. And even then they are difficult to notice. I think you did a fine job with his character design, which is beast, by the way xD
